Antique French tapestry fireplace screen dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, beautifully shaped in the Louis XV taste with an elegant serpentine silhouette and carved cabriole legs. Designed to sit before the hearth, the frame features graceful rococo-inspired lines with carved foliate detailing and a softly worn painted finish that adds warmth and character.
The central panel is fitted with a floral tapestry textile in muted blush, cream, and soft blue tones, framed by scrolling ornament that echoes the decorative refinement of French interiors.
